At an early age, this Canadian kid was almost eaten by the snowboarding machine. On the verge of premature teenage burnout, Jed fled the scene. It was a move that saved him. Back home in Calgary, Jed tapped into the unlimited possibilities of the streets and found his fire again. Raw talent and convincing footage made his return to the game both swift and inevitable. He has since become one of snowboarding’s most influential young riders. And he’s doing it his way.
Earlier today, Yamaha MXFonta Racing's Kiara Fontanesi captured her third FIM Women's Motocross World Championship at the MXGP of Czech Republic at Loket. A win in the first moto helped Fontanesi to her third title over Meghan Kat Rutledge. Below is a report courtesy MXGP.
Following a fourteen-year career, RCH Racing Suzuki's Ivan Tedesco has announced his retirement from professional racing. During his career, Tedesco won three titles (2004 and 2005 West Region Supercross and 2005 AMA Motocross) and was part of three winning USA Motocross of Nations teams (2005, 2006 and 2009). The New Mexico native released the following letter announcing his decision.
